When I found Exparang I thought it was such a cool idea. I started to use the site’s new interface and tried out the customer journey.
Compared to using LinkedIn or Otto, what stood out to me about Exparang was the values-matching aspect. They took into account so many more things that are important to me. It made me feel in control of which roles I was matched with.
Later when I actually wanted to look for a job I found I had a lot of matches. Almost all of them were interesting and I decided to take the next step with a few of the best.
I trusted that the matches on Exparang weren't made randomly but were really personalised, which made the experience feel more engaging than LinkedIn. Overall, I found Exparang way more interesting and trustworthy than LinkedIn, where I feel like I'm not special and the promoted jobs don't always interest me.
I thought all Exparang’s matched roles were well-suited to me and I was interested in nearly every one. While I appreciate job suggestions on LinkedIn, the platform is primarily a social network, whereas Exparang feels like my personal recruiter friend in my pocket.
If you're looking for a more personalised approach to job matching, I highly recommend giving Exparang a try.
